Making Messiah's Anointing was a weighty assignment. Even the name, do I call it Jesus's Anointing? Yeshua? Yahushua? I can just see people freaking out if I spelled it in a way that wasn't to their liking. As I prayed about it I believe Holy Spirit told me simply, Messiah. I love it so much! There are only four essetnial oils (in addition to the carrier blend) in Messiah's Anointing as the goal was to create this only with what the bible, as well as historic context, says He would have used and/or been anointed with throughout His life. Frankincense, Myrrh, Rosemary, and Spikenard. The oils are listed in alphabetical order with their biblical significance as well as their medicinal benefits.

Frankincense- And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:11

Frankincese was an oil burned for praise and worship, and to anoing the high priests. Its flame burnes pure white, and it's citrusy scent would've made it an obvious choice as a gift from the Magi's to the new born Messiah, and speaks of the divine nature of Jesus, that He was fully YHWH.

Frankincense is good for treating coughs, bronchitis, inflammation, infections, tense breathing, shallow breathing, rapid breathing, PMS, menopausal symptoms, immune support, wrinkles, dry skin, mature skin, scars, inflammation, small wounds, minor skin infections, anxiety, stress, nervous tension, fear, and for calming a restless mind.

Myrrh-He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds. Taking Jesus’ body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs. John 19:39-40

Myrrh was given to Jesus at birth, offered to him at the cross, and he was anointed with it at His burial. It's significance speaks that he was fully human, and would die as such. It's this death, burial, and subsequent resurrection from the dead that is our SALVATION, the promise of our own resurrection. Myrrh was also a main ingredient in the holy anointing oil.

Myrrh is beneficial to treat bronchitis, coughs, sore throats, infections, mouth and gum disorders, skin irritations, chapped skin, dry skin, small wounds (especially chronic), eczema, minor skin infections, anxiety, tension, emotional coolness, apathy. It's also a wonderful immune support.

Rosemary-We don't see Jesus anoited with Rosemary oil in scritpure, however, it grows so prevalently in Israel that all of Jerusalem smells of it as the breeze sends it's beautiful scent wafting through streets in the warm air. I will never forget it, it's my favorite herb because of those memories!

It was commonly tucked in mattresses, and corners to ward off bugs, and other critters, and historically speaking, we can surmise that Joseph, as protector and provider, would've cared for Jesus in the manger in this way.

Rosemary is excellent for respiratory congestion, infections, colds, flu, sinusitis, bronchitis, fatigue, poor circulation, muscle aches, stiff joints, general stimulant, and immune support.

Spikenard- And while he was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he was reclining at table, a woman came with an alabaster flask of ointment of pure nard, very costly, and she broke the flask and poured it over his head. Mark 14:3

Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. John 12:3

While the king was on his couch, my nard gave forth its fragrance. Song of Solomon 1:2

Spikenard is so SPECIAL. It's very costly, very perfumey, and a symbol of pure LOVE between a BRIDE and her groom. She is willing to pour it out for the sake of loving Him, as we see with two different women in the gospels. In Song of Solomon we see the Bride's aroma of pure nard is noticed by the Bridegroom!

Like I always say, YHWH values aromas, even if I don't fully understand how they connect us to Him, aromas, oils, scents, anointing...It is all HIS idea. May using this oil remind us all what a huge sacrifice Jesus made, and how because of our LOVE for Him we should want to present ourselves as a pure, holy, sweet smelling, valuable Bride when He comes for us. No, it's not by our own power, or the power of oils, but by the beautiful unction of the Holy Spirit. I pray that He meets you as you breathe in the heavenly scent, and anoint yourself and others with Messiah's Anointing.

Spikenard is great for fighting bacterial infections in the urethra, urinary bladder, and kidneys, as well as in the treatment of Athlete’s Foot, cholera, food poisoning, septic, and tetanus. It's also anti-fungal and good for treating dermititis, and psoriasis,

The Shemen HaMishchah come in a base of organic Calendula- hydrates, firms, fights acne, and can be used as a natural sunscreen.

Jojoba- cleanses, protects, heals and smoothes fine lines and wrinkles.

Olive- The spiritual meaning of olive oil goes SO DEEP! Most understand that olive oil is representative of the Holy Spirit. That powerful enough and reason to include it on it's own! But it also moisturizes skin, reduces signs of aging, fights oxidative stress, increases collagen, cleanses skin, fights acne, promotes wound healing, and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Pomegranate Seed-Jewish tradition teaches that the pomegranate is a symbol for righteousness, because it is said to have 613 seeds which correspond with the 613 mitzvot or commandments of the Torah. Pomegranate is one of the seven species the spies brought back with them to show how fertile the Promised Land was. It speaks of God's favor exhibited in fruitfulness and abundance.

Rosehip Seed-is anti-aging, reduces sun spots, smooths and reduces acne scars & stretch marks and is anti-inflammatory.

Sweet Almond-can heal superficial skin burns, boost collagen production, keeps skin hydrated and supple, as well as protects against potential damage caused by UV radiation. Biblically, Almond blossoms were to be used as part of the Lord's instructions when building the temple (Exodus 37:19) and almonds were plentifully and represented a hastening, maybe to obedience.

Each anointing oil also contains ethically sourced, pure mineral mica.

  • Here is a Live Video discussion I made on the oils that I think will be a blessing to you as you explore the new Shemen Hamishchah!

  • Shemen HaMishchah, or Anointing Oils, are a new category for Emerald Oils! All essential oils and carrier oils are anointing oils in my opinion, but these are specifically blended to be as close as the biblical 'recipes' as possible according to the research I've done at the inspiration of the Ruach HaKodesh. (The Holy Spirit.)

It has taken months and months to get these off the ground, much longer than anticipated. Almost as if unseen forces didn't want them to become available! Hmmm. But YHWH! They are finally here!
