Curious how to get started in the Blue Zone Lifestyle?
Here I was as a Biblical Herbalist who should know better, getting caught up in all the internet food noise. Forgetting that all I had to do was STOP. PRAY. ASK. And REST, and He would give me the answer. And He did… The Blue Zone way of eating, much like the Mediterranean diet, appears, so far as I study, to very closely match the way Jesus and the disciples would’ve eaten. Olive oil, plants/fruits/vegetables of all kinds, lots of FIBER, small amounts of sheep or goat’s milk dairy, animal protein on feast celebrations and sometimes Sundays, little to no animal fat. (It was commanded to burn the fat of the animal on the altar in Leviticus 3, 4, & 6.)
Food PEACE feels SO GOOD. I’m using my Emerald Better You for really good fiber to start my day, then enjoying oatmeal, corn cakes, lots of yummy fruit, veggies, and hummus with more fruit and nuts for lunch, pasta and beans for dinner with an occasional Mahi Mahi, lots of potatoes, my fruit and herb Matcha lattes with oat milk midday, and even macarons for dessert. On the days where I want quick protein to help meet my 49 grams- I reach for my Be in Health hemp protein and super greens powder. I even look forward to starting my day with a full glass of my Better You Lifefiber! Easy peasy. And I’m satisfied, without shame. This is HUGE.
