Some theologians believe that lemongrass, the bright lemon-scented plant that dates back to ancient Greek and Roman times, may be the calamus oil mentioned in the Bible as part of the priestly incense. Calamus, also known as "sweet cane", is an ancient herb that may be the same as lemongrass! This is one to carry in your purse to uplift and encourage praise whenever you need a boost of energy to make it through the day!
