Blueberries in the Temple

Blueberries are amazing little creations aren't they? Not only are they downright beautiful in color and form, but each little berry packs power called anthocyanin. These are a type of flavanoids that are responsible for the antioxidants in blueberries that everyone talks about! These antioxidants are anti-aging (don't think wrinkles, think healthy organs!), help with brain function, and may alleviate inflammation that is the evil cause of everything from chronic disease to depression! TAKE A BITE
Blueberries are also high in Vitamin K which keep bones and teeth strong, high in Vitamin C which Collagen is reliant upon (okay, now think help for those wrinkles as well as sun protection!) and high in fiber while being low in calories meaning they are a great addition to any WEIGHT LOSS program specifically for belly fat-yes please!
TAKE IT FROM AN EXPERT Don't take my word for it, you can read all about this little blue gem over at Dr. Axe's site, including scientific test results and a way deeper nutritional breakdown.

TAKE ONLY HALF
Here's my little tip for getting more blueberries into your diet, because consistency is key to having a thriving temple, right?
If you're like me, then there are times throughout every day where you just want the satisfaction of hand to mouth snacking. I think this is why I love Popcorn and Junior Mints so much! The satisfaction comes from bite after bite that can last two hours if you pace yourself correctly. So, everyday for that finger food snack that you want to last, add in a cup of blueberries! Even if the other part of your snack is not so great, take half of it out and replace it with blueberries. Half of your popcorn, chips, or m-n-ms replaced with blueberries everyday will have a huge impact on your health and eventually-you may only crave the berries. Our God is AMAZING, thank Him today for giving us everything we need to make sure our bodies will live long and healthy lives in Hi service! The land will give its fruit and you may eat until you are satisfied, and you may live securely in the land. Leviticus 25:19
