The Word of the Lord for 2017-Enter with a shout!!!
A Disclaimer
I am one who kind of scoffs at general prophetic words for the masses when I scroll across them on facebook or elsewhere. They just never sit right with me as I do not believe that God is saying the same thing to ALL people at the same time about what their future holds. You know the type, they usually use the word 'breakthrough' and 'blessing' quite a bit. I assure you, this is not one of those kind of words, but I hope you find breakthrough and blessing in it nonetheless.
The Word
"It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.” Joshua 6:5
As I sought the Lord after church this morning for a word to give for 2017 I kept hearing "SHOUT. Enter the year with a SHOUT." Immediately He brought me to the story of Joshua and the wall of Jericho and reminded me of Donald TRUMP and his coming inauguration.
You know the story of Joshua, the city of Jericho was walled and shut up, no one went in and no one came out. Then the word of the Lord came to Joshua saying "See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor." (vs. 2)
He was then told that the men of war should march around the city one time a day for six days and on the seventh day, they should march around the city SEVEN times and SEVEN priests should blow SEVEN trumpets, followed by all the people shouting. On the Hebrew calendar, God's calendar, we are in the year 5777. Oh yes, it is time for God's people to SHOUT.
Dubious
According to Strong's concordance, the word Jericho, in part, means DUBIOUS- Hesitant and doubtful.
Listen up people of God! It is time to rise with a SHOUT! The Lord has brought a TRUMP to the forefront of world relations during this end times season! Good or bad it does not matter! The TRUMPet is sounding for God's purposes and it is the responsibility of the children of the Most High to respond at the sound of the TRUMPet with a SHOUT to the heavenlies that brings down satanic walls of hesitancy and doubt! BOTH of which are tactics he (the enemy) has used all throughout history starting all the way back in the garden of Eden! Satan has built walls between mankind and the Messiah to keep the lost from entering IN and the saved from going OUT. NO MORE!!!! The great harvest is upon us! It is TIME for the people of God to RISE AND SHOUT in faith and authority to bring down the walls of doubt that have kept the lost, lost! To break down the walls of hesitancy that have kept God's people in the comfortable walls of church buildings, afraid to GO to the nations to make disciples!!!!! HESITANCY has no place in the life of a Jesus follower! He said GO into all the world and make disciples! (Matthew 28:19) WE MUST GO! Time is short and our Redemption draws near!
The SHOUT
What is the shout? It is a shout of praise to Adonai! A shout of intercession and repentance! A shout of glory and of confidence in our authority for battle! It is a shout of "NO MORE!!!!" No more will the enemy of our souls keep us afraid! No more will he keep the lost blind! No more will his lies build walls so that none can enter in! It is a VICTORY SHOUT in JESUS that WE believe that He is the Savior of the whole world and that His cross is big enough for EVERYONE! It is the shout that one cries on their face in fasting while another screams His grace from a mountaintop! It is the SHOUT heard around the world! It is the SHOUT of spiritual warfare that moves demons out of the way so that the great Harvest can be reaped! "Shout, for the Lord has given you the city!" Seek Him
Take this word to Him and seek for an answer earnestly. What is your role in the shouting? What does that shouting look like for you? What is He calling YOU personally to do in the battle to bring down the walls right NOW? This possibly may be applied on a personal level as well-the shouting to make walls come down, but, it is my opinion that this is not a personal word for us to hoard for our individual breakthrough, I believe that each of us MUST be Harvest focused. Life's personal problems serve as satan's distractions to keep us from fulfilling our Kingdom destiny that will bring others with us into the perfect redemption and heavenly kingdom of the Lord. Ask the Lord what you are to do with this word, then RUSH to obedience as He answers. There is no time for delay.
