This no-pectin hot pepper jelly strikes the perfect balance of hot, sweet, and acid... spread it on a buttery (salty) cheese and fireworks happen in your mouth (and heart!) If you find me eating this out of the jar with a spoon, just mind your business.

Yes, there is a high content of sugar in jelly, but in my opinion, the health benefits of the peppers outweight the bit of sugar we consume per each tablespoon of jelly.

Bell peppers are an excellent source of vitamin C, and vitamin A, and have antioxidant properties, which help to protect against cardiovascular disease and some cancers.

Hot peppers are even more incredible than their milder counterpart! They posess all the same benefits as bell peppers, PLUS they help with migraines, ulcers, diarrhea, gas, cramps, weightloss, colds, flus, nerve pain, and more, and can even help stop a heart attack or stroke! In an emergency just place cayenne pepper under the tongue to thin the blood and possibly help save a life!

There are even studies* that show hot peppers can aid in longevity, so eat up, friends! This hot pepper jelly has become an everyday staple for my lunch, but its also so gorgeous that it makes the loveliest of gifts, or accent to your special occasion table. Enjoy!
